Waltham police launched a search for a potential missing person last Monday, Oct. 28.
Part of the search focused in and along the Charles River, where city police and the Massachusetts State Police dive team worked around the Moody Street and Prospect Street bridges.
Although the police activity in the heavily trafficked area drew the public’s attention, police officials said there was no threat or concern to the public.
Investigating officers were able to locate the missing individual at another locale, reporting that the person was safe.
