Waltham City Hall sees ‘Not my Presidents Day’ protest
A few dozen protesters gathered in front of City Hall midday Monday, joining protesters around the country as part of the Feb. 17 “Not My Presidents Day” protests.
The Waltham protesters carried signs critiquing President Donald J. Trump as well as Elon Musk, who has “special government employee” status, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The protesters included Waltham City Councilor-at-Large Colleen Bradley-MacArthur, who posted photos of the event on social media. In her Instagram post caption, Bradley-MacArthur wrote: “I’m grateful for the 30 or so Waltham residents that braved the cold to share their concerns over things that are happening at the national level. Make no mistake, these actions have implications right here in Waltham.”
