Waltham residents turned out at the corner of Moody and Main streets this past Thursday for a National Day of Action in support of working people.

The organizers, Indivisible Waltham and Waltham Concerned Citizens, plan a second rally at the same location on Saturday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The rallies aim to prevent the “takeover of our government by people and groups pushing an authoritarian vision of America,” the organizers said.
