Hipolito Ruano Godoy, 1972–2025

Hipolito Ruano Godoy of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening May 6th, 2025 in his residence at the age of 53.

Born on February 5, 1972 in Jalapa, Guatemala; beloved son of Luis Alberto Ruano and Rosa Helida Godoy.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Luz Elena Carrera Leal, his parents and dear siblings.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Hipolito’s life to remember the love and friendship he shared with so many in his lifetime at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, on Saturday evening May 17th at 7:00 P.M.

Visitation will be held in The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.

Burial will be held in Guatemala.
