Waltham residents protest ICE detentions

A vocal crowd armed with colorful banners and signs demonstrated at Waltham Common on Thursday afternoon. Many of the protesters expressed dismay at the detention of local residents and the lack of transparency by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. ICE has declined to respond to calls from The Waltham Times asking for the names of the detained individuals and any information about their immigration status or what crimes they are alleged to have committed.
