In a Pickle will roll out Haunted Hearse and Grinch Car at the Moody Street Car Show

A Waltham restaurant plans to kick off a monthlong Halloween-themed promotion during Saturday’s Moody Street Car Show, adding a hearse and a custom “Grinch Car” to the lineup of classic vehicles on display.
In A Pickle Restaurant, located on Moody Street, will debut its “Haunted Hearse of Horrors” prize envelope giveaway Aug. 16 at the annual car show. Owner Tim Burke said the event offers a fitting opportunity to showcase the vehicles and start the contest.
“We’ve done a lot of creative envelope giveaways this past year, but this one has a spooky twist,” Burke said.
The restaurant’s booth will feature the 2006 Cadillac DTS hearse, the bright green Grinch-themed vehicle, free trick-or-treat bags for visitors, and prize envelopes containing offers ranging from free meals to larger Halloween-themed rewards. A costumed Grinch character is also scheduled to appear.
The giveaway will run through Sept. 15 during the restaurant’s evening hours, Wednesday through Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Every envelope will contain a prize, with some offering grand prizes, including the hearse itself.
