A guide to the 2025 elections

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4. Waltham voters will elect candidates for the city’s nine ward seats and six at-large seats on the City Council, as well as for three of the six seats on the School Committee.

The current ward councilors are running unopposed. Nine candidates are vying for the six at-large councilor seats. Four candidates are competing for the three school council seats.

Over the coming weeks leading up to election day, the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Waltham and The Waltham Times will work together to provide profiles of each candidate. Candidates have expressed concern about Waltham’s low voter turnout at past municipal elections.
