Overnight roadwork on Lexington Street begins Sunday

Overnight milling and paving will begin Sunday, Oct. 26, along Lexington Street from Jack’s Way to the Waltham–Lexington line as part of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority’s Section 101 Extension Project.

Contractors will work Sunday through Thursday nights from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. No work is planned Friday, Oct. 31, in observance of Halloween. Final paving is expected to take place at night during the week of Nov. 2, weather permitting.

Police details and signage will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone. Drivers should expect minor delays and exercise caution.
