Ward 2 Councilor candidate Caren Dunn
Caren Dunn is running unopposed for the Ward 2 councilor seat. She declined an interview with The Waltham Times via phone call, citing caring for elderly parents and her full-time job as obstacles to participating in an interview. Dunn’s campaign has a Facebook page, which was last updated Nov. 3, 2019. She has been in office since her election in 2019. She has not responded to emails sent by the League of Women Voters of Waltham, and it is unclear whether she will be at the league’s Ward Councilors event on Oct. 28.

Does not surprise me. I do hope she’s doing well if she’s this busy, but she hasn’t done anything ever.
I still remember when she went door to door, mostly engaging with complaints about the high school construction, about how disturbing it was. Then moot.
I hope she takes some initiative this year, especially with the gravel run off from heavy rain.
