CrossFit TILT Waltham offers free training week for first responders, active military

CrossFit TILT Waltham will offer a free week of training to all first responders and active military members from Dec. 1 to 6, inviting police officers, firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers and service members from Waltham and nearby communities to take part.
The initiative supports the physical and mental demands placed on public safety professionals through CrossFit TILT’s focus on strength, conditioning and functional movement. Programming is designed to promote health, stamina and readiness — qualities essential to those serving on the front lines.
“First responders face unpredictable, physically demanding scenarios every day to keep our community safe,” said founder Max Isaak. “We want to honor that commitment by providing access to training that builds strength, readiness and resilience. This free week is our way of saying thank you.”
The free classes are open to all fitness levels, including beginners. Those interested can sign up by emailing info@crossfittilt.com. In addition to this offer, the gym provides an ongoing membership discount for first responders and active military personnel.
CrossFit TILT will also host a holiday celebration for members on Dec. 13 featuring 3rd Alarm Wood Fired Pizza, a fire truck converted into a mobile brick-oven pizzeria. A portion of ticket sales and all raffle proceeds from the event will benefit The Tillerman Foundation, a Waltham-based nonprofit supporting local first responders.
“This event allows our gym community to come together in a meaningful way while giving back to individuals who protect and serve Waltham,” Isaak said. CrossFit TILT Waltham is located at 40 Jones Road. More information is available at www.crossfittilt.com or on Instagram at @crossfittilt.
