Waltham Weather Outlook: Dec. 31, 2025 to Jan. 7, 2026

A colder than normal pattern continues through the New Year and into early January. Strong winds ease to close out 2025, followed by a period of light snow New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day that may create slick travel conditions. After that, dry but persistently cold weather dominates through the weekend, with temperatures running well below normal. Confidence decreases early next week, but additional light snow chances return Monday into Tuesday before quieter, cold conditions resume.
