All Waltham public schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27

Waltham public schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27, as the city digs out from the heavy snowfall on Sunday and Monday. Nearly two feet of snow blanketed the city and many roadways are still being cleared. Afternoon school activities have also been cancelled. Additionally:

• Trash and recycling pick-up are delayed by one day this entire week.
• The Waltham snow emergency parking ban was lifted as of 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26. Owners have until 2 p.mm on Tuesday, Jan. 27, to move their vehiclees out of municipal lots.
