Pedestrian injured in crash on Prospect Street

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Prospect Street early Friday morning, according to Waltham Police.
Officers responded to the area of 200 Prospect St. at about 7:24 a.m. for reports of a crash involving a pedestrian, police said. Waltham Fire Department crews and Armstrong Ambulance Service also responded.
When officers arrived, they found the injured pedestrian and began providing medical aid, police said. The driver involved remained at the scene.
The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment and was listed in stable condition, according to police.
