Public safety report: Trio of trespassings at 200 Trapelo Road
Three incidents of trespassing occurred at 200 Trapelo Road this week.
On March 27 at 9:22 p.m., police responded to reports of trespassing at 200 Trapelo Road. The caller believed that his friend was inside the abandoned Walter E. Fernald Developmental Center portion of the property. Police were unable to locate the friend.
On March 27 at 10:38 p.m., police responded to the property again. This time, there was a report of 8 kids on the property. Officers were unable to locate the group.
On March 31 at 12:07 p.m., police responded to the property a third time. Two men had reportedly jumped the fence to the Fernald portion of the property. Both men were located and police are seeking a summons for trespassing.
Security improvements intended to reduce trespassing incidents are planned for 200 Trapelo Road in the near future.

On March 24 at 10:55 a.m., police responded to a residence on Cooper Street. The caller said that they had been scammed out of $1,650 in a bail money scam. Police are still investigating.
On March 24 at 2:03 p.m., police received a call saying that there was damage to the fence around the Circle of Remembrance at the common. Upon investigation, police determined the damage was from a snow plow.
On March 24 at 4:16 p.m., police responded to reports of an accident in the area of 135 Second Avenue. A car had crashed into a telephone pole. The driver was transported to the hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. The driver was cited for using an electronic device while driving.
On March 25 at 8:33 a.m., police responded to a report of assault and battery at Dunkin’ Donuts at 859 Main St. During an argument, one employee, identified as Bruna Colcord, 44, of Waltham, had thrown hot coffee onto another employee. Colcord was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
On March 25 at 3:39 p.m., police received several calls making false reports of a stabbing. Officers are in the process of issuing a summons for the caller.
On March 26 at 11:33 a.m., police responded to reports of a larceny on Gale Street. Police spoke to the caller, who said that their Robinhood trading and investing account had been compromised and they had lost $365,000 in cryptocurrency. Police are still investigating the event.
On March 26 at 5:13 p.m., police responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Central Street and Heard Street. A car had struck a scooter and its operator, who were traveling the wrong way down a one-way street. The scooter operator was transported to the hospital for a minor injury.
On March 29 at 12:13 a.m., police responded to reports of vandalism in the area of 484 Lexington St. The caller believed his vehicle had been intentionally hit by rocks. Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
On March 30 at 11:53 a.m., police responded to the AAA Auto Club at 846 Lexington St. The caller believed that her handicap parking placard was stolen. She believes she left her vehicle unlocked by accident.
On March 30 at 1:39 p.m., firefighters responded to reports of a fire on Emerson Road. Upon arrival, the crew found a small area of mulch on fire. The fire was promptly put out. A crew responded to a second mulch fire at 5:43 p.m. on South Street. It was extinguished as well.
On March 30 at 7:48 p.m., police responded to reports of a man pulling on car handles at a residence on Brook Avenue. Police made contact with the man, who seemed to be having a mental health episode. Police determined no crime was committed.
