Cyclist taken to hospital after accident

Waltham emergency crews responded to the area of Mackerel Hill for a reported bicycle accident in the woods around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Specialized police units and a Waltham Fire UTV were deployed to assist in the search. The injured individual was located in the wooded area, brought out on the UTV to an awaiting ambulance and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
