WDCC Meet the Candidates forum

The Waltham Democratic City Committee will hold its annual Meet the Candidates forum at historic Stonehurst, the Robert T. Paine Estate, on August 3. This year’s event will focus on the municipal elections in Waltham, allowing the public to meet and hear the candidates running for Waltham’s city council and school committee. The informal event is free and open to the public.

Following brief introductions from the candidates at 11 a.m., attendees will be able to mingle one-on-one or in small groups with the candidates. The event is designed to encourage engagement with the candidates in a casual setting, presenting the opportunity for candid discussion of campaign issues, policy and what each hopes to bring to the city. The ultimate goal is increasing local civic engagement and awareness. Registration is not required; questions can be directed to WatchCityDems@gmail.com.
