Water service shutoff planned Wednesday on Weston Street and Caldwell Road

Water service will be temporarily shut down Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the area of 115 to 178 Weston St. and along all of Caldwell Road, the city’s Water and Sewer Division announced.

Water service may be restored before 4 p.m., but residents are advised to prepare for the full outage.

After service resumes, residents who experience discolored water should run their cold tap until the water clears before using hot water. Those with cloudy or milky-looking water should run the highest cold water tap in the home to remove air from the system.
