A pedestrian was hit by a car last Monday, Dec. 16, around 5 p.m. as he was crossing Stow Street near Milton Street.

The pedestrian, a 42-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to a Waltham Police Department spokesperson.

The driver, a 43-year-old Quincy woman, was not cited. Police said a combination of headlights and weather conditions caused glare that obstructed her view. Police noted that the area is not well lit and does not have any crosswalks.

Police said there have been 30 pedestrian-related car crashes in Waltham so far this year.
