Waltham continues to ride spring’s rollercoaster this week as the region sees a back-and-forth between warm, moist air and cooler, drier systems. Friday brings a taste of spring sunshine and mild temperatures before a sharp cooldown and soaking rain arrive over the weekend. A brief warm-up Sunday gives way to another unsettled and seasonably cool stretch heading into midweek.

Clouds thicken with a 50% chance of showers as a weak front approaches. Highs rise to around 59°F. Winds from the south at 10–15 mph, gusting up to 29 mph.
