Aston Magna — America’s longest-running festival of music on period instruments, now in its 53rd season — opens its Waltham series with “The Genius of the French Baroque: sonatas and cantatas of Rameau, Clérambault, and others.” Performers: Dominique Labelle, soprano; Daniel Stepner, baroque violin; Laura Jeppesen, viola da gamba; Michael Sponseller, harpsichord.
