Community-wide civics trivia night

May 13. @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join the Waltham Public Schools and the League of Women Voters of Waltham for a night of fun, friendly competition, and civic participation!

Our inaugural Community-wide civics trivia night will be a lively, interactive, social event where teams compete by answering questions spanning:

  • Waltham government and history
  • State government and history
  • Federal government and branches
  • Voting information and elections
  • U.S. Constitution and citizenship

The format will consist of total of five rounds of questions culminating with the fifth final, high-stakes round. All teams continue to participate through all the rounds.

The event emphasizes friendly competition, collaboration, community building, with certificates awarded to top-scoring teams. The overall tone is inclusive, engaging, and accessible—no prior expertise required.

Food, beverages and school swag will be offered.

Event Cost:

  • $40 per adult team of up to 8 adults
  • Student teams of up to 8 students compete free by showing their WPS student IDs

Spectators

  • Suggested donation of $10 per adult spectator
  • WPS students free by showing WPS student ID

Pre-registration required.

Tickets will be sold at the door.
