Community-wide civics trivia night

Join the Waltham Public Schools and the League of Women Voters of Waltham for a night of fun, friendly competition, and civic participation!
Our inaugural Community-wide civics trivia night will be a lively, interactive, social event where teams compete by answering questions spanning:
- Waltham government and history
- State government and history
- Federal government and branches
- Voting information and elections
- U.S. Constitution and citizenship
The format will consist of total of five rounds of questions culminating with the fifth final, high-stakes round. All teams continue to participate through all the rounds.
The event emphasizes friendly competition, collaboration, community building, with certificates awarded to top-scoring teams. The overall tone is inclusive, engaging, and accessible—no prior expertise required.
Food, beverages and school swag will be offered.
Event Cost:
- $40 per adult team of up to 8 adults
- Student teams of up to 8 students compete free by showing their WPS student IDs
Spectators
- Suggested donation of $10 per adult spectator
- WPS students free by showing WPS student ID
