Bring the whole family for a free fun-filled day at the Rose Art Museum. Get creative with drop-in artmaking, enjoy delicious free ice cream from Lizzy’s Homemade Ice Cream, and play lawn games in the sunshine. Our friends from the Waltham Library will host a special pop-up story time, perfect for little book lovers.
Explore the galleries with interactive drawing tours and scavenger hunts inspired by our exciting exhibitions: “Hugh Hayden: Home Work,” “Leonora Carrington: Dream Weaver,” and “Surrealism(s) – Then & Now.”
Activities are geared toward children ages 5-10 and their families, but all ages are welcome. Best of all, this event will take place rain or shine so come ready for a day of art, play, and sweet treats no matter the weather!
