Fun Run for the whole family — Early registration open

Remember the Moody 5K? A successful reboot was held last spring by the Waltham Education and Beyond Foundation (WEBF). More than 600 took part in the Strides for Education 5K and Kids Fun Run, including roughly 80 kids ages 5 to 8.
The road race is returning on Sunday, May 4, and registration is now open. Kids who sign up this year will receive a finisher’s medal and a coupon for a free kids ice cream from Lizzy’s.
From now until April 4, participants under 18 can register at a discounted rate of $15. The WEBF is also offering free race t-shirts for the first 750 participants. Funds raised from the event benefit programs in Waltham Public Schools.
