Grow great garlic with Roger B. Swain

Hooray! It’s garlic season! Time to plant those cloves, and enjoy the cured harvests of the earlier summer months.
Join Roger B. Swain, the man in the red suspenders from PBS’s Victory Garden, and your fellow garlic-growing enthusiasts for this exciting workshop on the farm, geared towards adult learning but open to youth attending with their adults.
Participants will:
- Get to know this amazing crop, how it grows, and best methods for growing at home
- Learn about how to easily incorporate garlic into your meals
- Taste various types of garlic (roasted to perfection)
- Take home up to a dozen cloves of garlic to start you own at home or in your garden plot, just in time for planting season!
Talk will be followed by a yummy garlic tasting and Q&A session with Roger.
