Mass Central Rail Trail Closure

Beginning Monday, March 31, 2025, and continuing through Friday, April 25, 2025, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will intermittently close the Mass Central Rail Trail (MCRT) between Bacon Street and Hammond Street in the City of Waltham from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate fence replacement work. Detours will be clearly marked, and a police detail will be on site.
