Tools for School: Backpack and school supply distribution

The Salvation Army in Waltham is hosting its annual Tools for School: Backpack and school supply giveaway. Nearly 850 Waltham-, Watertown- and Newton-area youth and their families will enjoy giveaways, snacks, community resources, and complimentary haircuts.

All children will receive a backpack full of back-to-school supplies, while supplies last.

As one of the nation’s largest non-profit organizations, the Salvation Army opens its doors to children and families in need throughout every zip code in Massachusetts without discrimination.
