Trimming the Tavern – A Winter’s Tale

This year’s winter holiday event, “Trimming the Tavern” will take place from Saturday, December 5 through Saturday, December 12. The theme this year is “A Winter’s Tale” and will celebrate books and stories that capture the wonder, warmth, and traditions of the holiday season. From timeless classics to cherished children’s tales, each room will interpret a different literary work through imaginative decorations, seasonal greenery, and creative design. The result is a memorable celebration of storytelling, history, and holiday magic. Free and family friendly! Includes a scavenger hunt for kids.

This community-wide seasonal event, led by the Country Garden Club of Weston, showcases local non-profits who will decorate the museum, upstairs and down, with creative nods to the theme.

Admission is free and hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. except Sunday, December 6, which will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
