Waltham Land Trust 25th Annual Meeting

Every November, the Board of Directors of the Waltham Land Trust holds an open meeting for WLT members and the general public where various topics we think would be of interest are discussed. This year, we’ll mark our 25th anniversary by welcoming Mike Barnett, professor of Science Education and Technology with Boston College currently working with local youth at the Charles River Museum of Industry’s Charles River Collaboratory. Dr. Barnett will share environmental and scientific research the students are conducting using tools and resources designed here in Waltham. We’ll also learn how to access the Mass Central Rail Trail, honor our Environmentalist of the Year, and provide updates on projects we’re tackling. Current, dues-paying WLT members will vote on new and returning Directors for the WLT Board. Be sure you are up-to-date and join/renew if needed!
