Waltham Land Trust 27th annual meeting

Help celebrate our successes from the past year by attending our annual meeting, which is free and open to the public.

We’ll also provide updates on issues we’re tackling, herald our Inge Uhlir Environmentalist of the Year and retiring board member Diana Young, and vote on returning WLT directors. Our main presenter will be Lynne Tolman, president of the Major Taylor Association, who will provide an illustrated talk about Major Taylor, “the Worcester Whirlwind.” Learn the remarkable story of the 1899 world champion’s life on and off the racetracks of the world, his connection to Waltham’s rich cycling history, and how the legacy of this African American pioneer is shaping cycling today.
