DESCRIPTION:The Waltham Democratic City Committee announces details for this year’s Waltham Democratic Caucus. \nOpen to the public. \nCaucuses are held each year to nominate delegates to the Annual MassDems State Convention. This year’s state convention is a nominating convention\, to be held in Worcester at the DCU Center on Friday and Saturday\, May 29 and 30. The purpose of the nominating convention is to allow party delegates to select the statewide nominees they would like to endorse for the state primaries. \nNote: While the caucus is open to the public\, only Democrats registered in Waltham may run and vote for delegates. Voting will occur in breakout sessions by ward. Attendees will be able to check which ward they belong in at check in. Voter lists with ward information will be available.

Did you know the National League that we know today was formed in 1876? DESCRIPTION:Join us at the AgX Film Collective space for an opportunity to experience a four decade retrospective of experimental moving images from AgX member Raymond Rea. \nRaymond Rea is a filmmaker and writer whose film work has been screened widely including at Light Field\, Engauge\, Mimesis\, The Ann Arbor Film Festival\, The Film-Makers Cooperative\, BFI\, Seattle Transgender Underground\, Lost & Found\, Outfest\, Inside Out\, Mix Mexico\, Mix NYC\, San Francisco Transgender Festival\, San Francisco International LGBT Festival (Frameline)\, Stockholm Transgender Festival\, Cine Salon\, ANALOGICA\, Union Docs\, Artists Television Access\, Flex Fest\, The Nightingale\, Aurora Picture Show\, New Fest\, Out on Screen\, Reeling\, and other national and international spaces. His writing has been produced at EXIT Stage Left\, EXIT Mainstage in San Francisco and at Theatre B in Minnesota. He is distributed through Canyon Cinema and Frameline Distribution. \nProgram runtime: 90 minutes plus Q&A with Raymond Rea and Genevieve Carmel. \nDoors open at 6:30pm\, program starts at 7:00pm. \nFree with a suggested sliding scale $5 – $20 donation.
