SUMMARY:Guided history walk along the Mass Central Rail Trail
DESCRIPTION:Come on a guided walk along it with the Waltham Land Trust and learn about the history of the railway that the Mass Central Rail Trail now sits on from Rick Kfoury\, a Director of the Boston & Maine Railroad Historical Society. Rick will highlight spots where rail stations used to stand and point out aspects of the past that still remain. Members of the Waltham Historical Society will also share their knowledge. \nThis route will be different than the one traveled with Rick last October. \nMeeting location will be shared with registrants closer to the date.

DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: Unfortunately\, we are canceling this event due to the incoming Nor’easter. \nCelebrate National Public Lands Day\, when people all over the country give trails and parks some TLC\, by picking up litter along the Charles River. Lead organizer Waltham Land Trust will provide trash bags\, gloves and snacks. Bring re-usable water bottles and work gloves if you have them. Waltham Trail Runners and 350 Mass Waltham will also be with us!
