A key part of this walk-a-thon is that it will be in person\, in real life\, and (mostly) offline! \nFor this event\, I am going to casually stroll thru the Cedarwood neighborhood (south of Main Street & north of Brandeis). We will start by the playground of Nipper Maher Park on Boynton Street between 10:45 and 11:00 a.m. before making our way west into the neighborhood. \nRSVP @ WalthamForward.com/walk. \nThe Purpose of the Walk \nAs we walk\, we will document potential infrastructure improvements\, obvious accessibility issues\, and likely safety concerns that ought to be addressed by the city. \nWe will also share a petition about the city website’s lack of ADA compliance and — more importantly — we will be on a listening tour to get to know our neighbors better.
