DESCRIPTION:Join Waltham Land Trust expert birder Emily Szczypek for a spring bird walk along the Charles River. \nMigration will be taking place so we could see Baltimore Orioles\, Warbling Vireos\, Warblers\, Tree and or Rough-winged Swallows\, and Osprey\, as well as our resident Great Blue Herons\, Red-tailed Hawks\, and various song birds. Families are encouraged to attend! \nDogs often scare away birds\, so they are not allowed. Bring binoculars. \nRain cancels.

SUMMARY:Joint cleanup along the Charles River
DESCRIPTION:The Waltham Land Trust is thrilled to show 350 Mass Waltham the ropes in a joint cleanup along the Charles River. \nWe will meet at the side parking lot at Shaw’s on River Street in Waltham. This is the lot to the right of Shaw’s as you enter the lot from River Street. We will have bags and gloves and will cross the footbridge to the path on the other side of the river and split into cleaning crews. \nPlease register before Friday\, September 19\, if you plan to attend. We ask that everyone be at the site by 2 p.m. sharp.
