Waltham Police Officer Paul Tracey posthumously honored

Waltham Police Officer Paul Tracey was posthumously awarded the Massachusetts Police Association Medal of Valor on Oct. 17 at the 124th Annual MPA Convention.

Paul’s wife, Kristin Tracey, also an officer with the Waltham Police Department, and their children accepted the award on his behalf.

Paul Tracey was struck and killed by a vehicle on Dec. 6, 2023, while he was working a construction detail along Totten Pond Road.
