Bentley takes second place at the Northeast-10 Women’s swimming and diving championship
Skyla Lang won gold in the 200-meter breaststroke on the final day of the meet

The Bentley University Falcons compiled 719 points to finish second place in the final meet of the legendary career of head coach Mary Kay Samko. They finished well ahead of third place Felician’s 514 points.
Hilla Almog was named the Women’s Most Outstanding Diver for the second straight year after she swept the diving events for the second consecutive time.
Skyla Lang won gold in the 200-meter breaststroke on Sunday, Feb. 16, the final day of the meet. She won with a time of 2:22.71, more than two seconds better than the runner-up.
Lang’s gold was her second gold medal of the meet after she won the 200-meter individual medley swim on Friday, Feb. 14. She won six medals at the meet overall with three individual (two gold, one silver) and three silver medals in the relays.
Taylor White just missed her second individual medal of the meet with a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter backstroke event. She missed the podium by just over one second.
Bentley swimmers took fourth and fifth in the finals of the 200-meter butterfly with Caroline Ubert (2:10.26) and Lily Rice (2:13.32).
Jordan Nuzback was sixth in the 100-meter freestyle with just .47 seconds separating her from a spot on the podium.
The grueling 1650 free saw freshman Cara Schwacke come in sixth place (18:32.04).
The meet closed with the 400-meter freestyle relay, with Bentley’s team of Bella Montanari, White, Lang and Nuzback taking fourth.
