Breezers Ball 2025 in photos
A large throng crowded into the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation last night to enjoy the city’s “best party,” the 9th Annual Breezers Ball.
Robert Perry, the museum’s director, estimated there were around 200 attendees.
Revelers, flutes of free champagne in hand, made their grand entrances to a live jazz ensemble. Many women were bedecked in satin and sequins. Fedoras appeared to be a favored headgear for the gentlemen.
Guests feasted on pizza, barbecued wings, grilled kebab and other hearty fare proffered by some of Waltham’s fine dining establishments.
Bar tenders served a special cocktail from Sweet Basil restaurant.
DJ Shaw soon had the partygoers up on their feet and dancing the night away to an eclectic mix that spanned generations and genres.
The crowd was as diverse as the music.
A young man named Zeppelin sat in the corner, controlling a dazzling light show projected onto the venerable brick walls of the museum.
Mayor Jeanette A. McCarthy made an appearance.
A disco ball scattered rainbow points of light over the happy crowd.
