Car crashes into a store on Main Street

Waltham emergency crews responded to the area of 500 Main St. for a report of a vehicle colliding with a building around 10 p.m. Saturday. 

Upon arrival, first responders located a single vehicle that had crashed into Monogramming Enterprises Inc. The vehicle had come to rest deep inside the store, causing significant damage to the front and interior of the building.

The driver was transported to Lahey Hospital in Burlington with unknown injuries.

The Waltham Building Department was called to the scene to assess the damage. The building was later deemed structurally safe.

This is the second time a vehicle has crashed into Monogramming Enterprises during the past year.
