Moody Street 5K draws community together

Runners lined Moody Street Sunday afternoon for the 2025 Strides for Education 5K, an annual road race benefiting the Waltham Education and Beyond Foundation. The event drew strong community turnout, with proceeds supporting local education initiatives across the city.

Jocelin Previl secured first place overall, finishing with a time of 18 minutes, 3 seconds. Results for registered runners are posted here

A 1K children’s fun run took place before the main road race for kids across the city to join in the good times.
