A teddy bear of a cat

Meet Ted, a handsome 6-year-old sweetheart who’s as gentle as a teddy bear.

After being found outdoors by a compassionate trapper, this black beauty is slowly but surely coming out of his shell more each day at The Cat Connection.

Because Ted is on the shy side, he’ll need a patient adopter in a calm home without other pets or small children. We are confident that he’ll thrive once he’s in his “purrfect” forever home.

Ted has feline immunodeficiency virus but this condition doesn’t define him — cats with FIV often live long, healthy and happy lives.

So, what do you say? Are you ready to move ahead with Ted? If so, please fill out our online adoption application

The Cat Connection is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit no-kill organization whose primary mission is to rescue abandoned, abused, unwanted, stray, neglected, and injured cats, and to facilitate their adoption into responsible permanent homes. This includes special needs cats and kittens with conditions that will require a specialized approach to adoption.
