North Waltham hit with rash of car break-ins and thefts

The white van was abandoned on Woodchester Road.

More than 12 vehicles were reportedly broken into or stolen in the North Waltham area early Saturday morning.

A white pickup truck was stolen from 8 Woodchester Circle at around 2:30 a.m. Surveillance footage shows suspects arriving in a minivan. The minivan, later abandoned on Woodchester Road, was apparently stolen in Lincoln.

The white pickup truck was later located on Candlewood Drive, where it appears the suspects abandoned it after stealing a Kia from the same street.

A Ford Explorer was reported stolen from Trapelo Road and later found with heavy front-end damage down the street.
