Man taken to hospital following truck rollover

Emergency crews responded  to a reported truck rollover on I-95 southbound just south of the Route 2 underpass around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Responders arrived to find a large commercial vehicle overturned off the highway, with one male occupant unconscious. Although the crash occurred in Lexington, the Waltham Fire Department responded and extricated the unconscious individual from the truck.

The man was transported to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington with unknown injuries. Responding crews notified state environmental officials of a fuel leak at the scene.

The Lexington Fire Department ultimately took command of the incident.
