Bentley University landed 20 student-athletes on the Northeast 10 Spring Academic All-Conference teams. Bentley athletes from eight different spring sports were represented, with the baseball and men’s lacrosse squads leading the way with four players each.

To be eligible for selection to NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have started in at least half or played in at least two-thirds of the team’s competitions as a significant contributor and achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average or better on a 4.0 scale.

From the baseball team, Keegan Antelman, Pat Heber, Nick Pappas and Brendan Sencaj were selected. The quartet helped the Falcons set a program record for wins for the second straight season. Sencaj and Heber were the NE10 Northeast Division Player and Pitcher of the Year, respectively.

Men’s lacrosse, which reached the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive year, was represented by Will Adams, Nathan Alviti, David Gagnon and Alex Parton. It’s a third straight selection for Parton and Alviti’s second of his career. All four were named either All-Conference or All-New England this spring.

Coming off its second NCAA Tournament appearance in three seasons, the softball team saw Jordan Krause and Jess Morrison receive Academic All-Conference recognition. Krause became the program’s first ever National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American and she was the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year. Morrison was named third team All-NE10 and to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.

The women’s lacrosse team was represented by Ashlee Wargo and Caitlin Keenan. Wargo started all 16 games in goal for the Falcons and was named the NE10 Goalie of the Week on March 31. Keenan was fourth in the conference in assists per game (2.00) and had 32 in total. Both were selected to the CSC Academic All-District team.

Rocco Bueti, Sam Capobianco and Ryan Orr were voted Academic All-Conference for men’s track and field. The trio were all named to the CSC Academic All-District team last week. They were also three of the runners on Bentley’s gold medal winning 4×800 relay teams at both the NE10 Indoor and Outdoor Championships.

Team captain Maria Mella was voted Academic All-Conference for women’s tennis. She played in No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles. She was on the CSC Academic All-District team as well for the 2024-25 season.

Women’s track and field saw Caitlin Burmester and Mia Bonner selected Academic All-Conference. Burmester was the NE10 Female Scholar Athlete of the Year and this is her ninth career Academic All-Conference award combined for track and cross-country. Bonner, a sophomore, was named to the CSC Academic All-District team last week.

The duo of Chris Huban and Evan Desjardins represented the men’s golf team. They both competed at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional tournament in May. The pair also both received NE10 All-Conference and CSC Academic All-District recognition.
