The Charles River Community Health Center welcomed the public to its annual health fair on August 6. The fair was part of CRCHC’s celebration of National Health Center Week, dedicated to recognizing the service and contributions of community health centers nationwide in providing access to affordable, high quality and cost-effective health care services to 32 million people.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. More than 20 agencies participated, providing information on a wide variety of health care and family support services for Waltham residents. Families attended with children, who enjoyed ice cream, snacks, raffles, music and face-painting while their parents learned about health screenings, how to apply of health insurance and other information promoting public health.
