In a Pickle, the popular eatery and favorite breakfast and brunch spot on Moody Street, is showing its civic spirit this summer by displaying a Waltham Times lawn sign in its outdoor dining area. The gesture highlights the restaurant’s close ties to the local community even as the season winds down.

Outdoor dining on Moody Street, which transforms a section of the busy thoroughfare into a pedestrian-friendly zone each summer, runs only through Labor Day. After that, tables and barriers will be cleared to make way for traffic again.
