Bailemos Dance Studio celebrates grand opening
Get your dancing shoes ready. Bailemos Dance Studio had its grand opening on Friday, showcasing its space and welcoming new members.
Mayor Jeannette A. McCarthy and Councilor-at-Large Carlos Vidal joined staff, neighbors and future clients for the Jan. 9 ribbon-cutting ceremony and walk-through.

Anna Pan, a noted dancer and choreographer, owns and operates Bailemos Studio.
A native of China, Pan studied ballroom and Latin dance forms for more than 10 years and won more than 20 awards in dance competitions. She moved to the United States to continue her training and graduated from Salem State University with a degree in dance. Pan opened her first studio in 2022 and now has locations in Waltham and Quincy, with more than 400 students in total.
“Our mission is to create a vibrant community where dancers of all ages and backgrounds can learn, grow and connect through the art of dance,” Pan said. “It’s not just a studio. It’s a place where people come together, support one another, and feel at home.”
Bailemos, located at 60 Prospect St., offers several dance programs for children, teens and adults, ranging from ballroom and Latin to ballet, jazz, hip-hop and K-pop.
The studio also organizes performances, competitions and cultural exchange programs, giving students opportunities to expand their experiences both locally and internationally.
Last year the kids dance team traveled to Walt Disney World in Florida and experienced the rides, characters and parade before an on-stage performance at the Magic Kingdom. This July a team trip is planned to New York City and Broadway as part of a youth dance performance at the historic New Amsterdam Theatre.
“We’re happy to be here and be part of the Waltham community,” Pan said.

I absolutely love this concept are various types of dance which I’m sure will bring a lot of people to this new studio. I wish her well and much success in Waltham!
