Community members filled American Legion Post 440 on Saturday evening for the Badass Waltham Warriors’ St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser, an event supporting local families coping with cancer.

The annual fundraiser featured food, raffles, silent auctions and live entertainment as residents and local businesses gathered in community solidarity. Proceeds from the event will go toward helping families manage the financial and emotional toll of cancer treatment.

The Badass Waltham Warriors began in 2019 as a support group for Waltham mothers battling breast cancer. The organization has since grown into a community-wide effort providing both emotional and financial assistance to families affected by all forms of cancer.

Many local sponsors supported the event this year, including City Streets Restaurant, Cabot’s Ice Cream & Restaurant, Watertown Savings Bank, Lamacchia Realty, Maple + High, Everett & Sons Insurance Agency, Babigian Law, The Tack Room, Interior Stone, Signs by Tomorrow and the Waltham Lions Club.
