Waltham scout calls for help on community build
Assistant Senior Patrol Leader Atharv Agarwal of Waltham Troop 248 is rallying a small crew of 6–8 volunteers to help turn his Eagle Scout Leadership Project from idea into reality.

An Eagle Scout project is a requirement for earning the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Each scout designs and leads their own project to benefit a local organization or the community.
For his project, Agarwal is building an information kiosk and two bog bridges to improve trail access and provide helpful information for visitors at Prospect Hill Park.
Volunteers under 18 will help cut wood for the kiosk and bridges using hand tools such as hacksaws, while adult volunteers will take on more advanced tasks using power tools including drills, augers and other equipment needed for construction.
If you’re available and able to help, Agarwal’s scheduled workdays are:
Saturday, May 2, from 12 – 4 p.m.
Sunday, May 3, from 12 – 3 p.m.
The build will be held at Wooden Kiwi Productions at 99 Hammond St.
