Seeking pro bono attorney for The Waltham Times

The Waltham Times, an independent nonprofit news organization serving Waltham, is seeking a Massachusetts-licensed attorney to provide pro bono legal counsel on an ongoing, as-needed basis. We are looking for support with review and negotiation of contracts and MOUs, website terms and policies, nonprofit governance and compliance questions, and occasional media-law issues (including questions related to newsgathering, defamation, and public records). Prior experience with nonprofits, media or small businesses is welcome but not required.

This is a flexible, remote-friendly volunteer role ideal for a solo practitioner, small firm or retired attorney who would like to support trusted local news in Waltham. Time commitment is occasional and project-based.

If interested, please contact June Kinoshita at june.kinoshita@walthamtimes.org with a brief description of your background and areas of expertise.
