Community turns out for spring cleanup at Whittemore

The Whittemore Elementary School community came together on April 11 to clean up the school’s playground and grounds, spread mulch around the trees and paint flower boxes. Councilors Cathyann Harris and Robert G. Logan lent a hand all morning. The cherry blossoms bloomed just in time for the school event.
