Tuesday, May 19 – Potentially the hottest day of the stretch

Strong sunshine, southwest winds, and an increasingly warm air mass aloft could allow temperatures to surge into the lower 90s during the afternoon. Humidity levels will also begin increasing, giving the day a more midsummer-like feel. Aside from a very isolated late-day shower risk well north or west of the area, dry conditions are expected.

• High: 89–92°F | Low: 66–70°F | Wind: SW 10–20 mph • Sky: Mostly sunny • Precipitation: 10%
